Inauguration of the academic year for UTW senior students

The inauguration of the Academic Year of the University of the Third Age at Alchemium, Lodz University of Technology, in October 2025 was a festive event that brought together students, lecturers and representatives of the university. During the ceremony, the new season of learning and activities for seniors was officially launched, emphasising the importance of education and intergenerational integration. The inauguration included guest speeches, addresses and presentations of plans for the coming academic year. The event was not only an opportunity to celebrate the acquisition of knowledge, but also to strengthen social ties and promote intellectual activity among seniors in Łódź and the surrounding area.

For years, UTW students have been taking advantage of a wide range of language courses at the TUL Language Centre.
