MSc Mariola Hejduk has been appointed as the Director of the TUL Language Centre

On June 26, 2024, JM Rector of Lodz University of Technology officially appointed Ms Mariola Hejduk as the Director of the TUL Language Centre.

Congratulations to the new Director!

Ms Mariola Hejduk began her career as an English language teacher in 2011 after completing her master's studies at the University of Sunderland in northern England, where she earned her MA TESOL degree with distinction. She also completed postgraduate studies in teaching at Teesside University and postgraduate studies in specialised translation at the University of Łódź. Throughout her career, she has mainly worked with adults in the context of lifelong learning, including roles at Hartlepool College of Further Education and Middlesbrough Community Learning in northern England; and at the academic level at the University of Sunderland, where she conducted courses in academic English for international students, as well as classes in English language teaching methodology and supervised bachelor’s and master’s theses. She has been associated with the TUL Language Centre since 2018. She is an enthusiast of using technology in the teaching process to enhance its effectiveness.
