ŁCDNIKP Seminar ‘Modern Foreign Language Teaching’

The Language Centre at Lodz University of Technology co-organised a seminar entitled ‘Modern Foreign Language Teaching’ with the Lodz Centre for Teacher Training and Practical Education (ŁCDNiKP). During the event, participants attended four lectures, two of which were given by our English teachers: Magdalena Jarniewicz, MA (‘The voices of neurons, the voices of machines: who speaks the student's language better?’) and Dr John Speller (‘New ways of teaching foreign languages in the era of unlimited access to content’), which was based on his own experiences of learning Polish. In addition, Ewa Wodzicka-Dondziłło (Angielskie Bajanie) spoke about teaching foreign languages in the context of diverse educational needs, and Małgorzata Kubiak and Katarzyna Grzejda (KIDS&CO) shared contemporary techniques in early language immersion.

The event was made even more enjoyable by refreshments during the coffee break. At the end, each participant in the seminar received a certificate confirming their participation.
