We are proud to announce that Szymon Pędziwiatr, M.Sc. has won the Poll, Best Teacher of the Academic Year 2019/2020, organized by the Student Government of Lodz University of Technology. Szymon Pędziwiatr, MA, is an experienced English speaker and translator with 25 years of experience in teaching English. He specializes in technical and specialist language. 

Szymon Pędziwiatr has been actively involved in translations carried out at the Language Centre for the University for many years. He cooperates with many departments, mainly in the field of specialist translation. His career also includes experience as a translator at Fortuna and Vervo. Before Mr Pędziwiatr joined our team of lecturers, he worked at the Medical University, where he trained paramedics in professional language.

You may have met mgr Pędziwiatr at the Language Centre as a coordinator of the virtual exchange with the Language Centre of Lodz University of Technology and the University of Berlin Space Is Not The Final Frontier, which was realised within the framework of the European Union project EVOLVE, after the first edition of the Lektor HT conference.

Privately, MA Pędziwiatr is passionate about motorcycles; she is just finishing the project of her own motorcycle!
